WORKING CONDITIONS:
Overarching Role and Responsibilities of Teaching and Learning Partners
1. Support the effective implementation of the Trust School Programme.
2. Build sustainable, transferrable, achievable and replicable education improvement in the school management system.
3. Work with school leaders as a guide, mentor and coach to develop their understanding and knowledge of effective leadership of learning.
4. Support the school in achieving their annual KPT’s.
Key responsibilities:
Raising student outcomes through improving learning and teaching
1. Support the school in raising the standards of teaching and learning.
2. Provide a range of continuous professional development opportunities for school teaching staff through the delivery of centralised and bespoke training, professional discussion, shared planning and teaching activities and coaching and mentoring activities as appropriate to need.
3. Support Advisory Teachers in developing the skills necessary to carry out their role effectively.
4. Provide appropriate and periodical feedback to teaching staff to enable achievement of professional targets.
5. Support teachers in collecting robust and valid student achievement data that informs learning and teaching.
Monitoring the effective implementation of the Trust School Transformation programme
1. Provide operation reports according to agreed timelines on programme implementation and track delays or escalate issues where necessary.
2. Monitor and report on teachers’ progress against the identified teacher competencies as part of the PMS process.
Other Responsibilities
1. Promote and adhere to the Company’s Vision and Values at all times.
2. Establish and maintain supportive relationships with school leaders, teachers and the community.
3. Any other appropriate duties as allocated by the Management.
4. Acquire relevant knowledge of the local culture and customs and observe culturally sensitive and appropriate behaviour, dress and language at all times.
5. Meet their statutory responsibilities with regard to Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities and other relevant legislation, and should conform to the professional and ethical requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
Min Qualifications and experience required:
• Bachelor’s Degree with a recognized teaching qualification.
• Experience of working within the education sector for a minimum of 5 – 8 years Primary School Teaching experience.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Skills
• Excellent understanding of and ability to deliver highly effective lessons that support student achievement.
• Can demonstrate the ability to plan lessons effectively.
• Proven ability to motivate and inspire others.

Selection
• Shortlisted applicants will have to complete a detailed questionnaire and submit letters of reference. They could also be required to present a lesson to in order to be assessed against the identified Trust School Teacher Competencies.
• Successful candidates will have to achieve at least 68/80 as judged against the Lesson Observation Rubric.
• Candidates will also be interviewed by a panel and appointments will be made based on merit and a proven track record of outstanding teaching.
