WORKING CONDITIONS:
The Ballenger-Atherton Group, Academic Resources Division, is seeking candidates to teach English as a foreign language in Saudi Arabia for our client.
US citizens $3750 per month
Canadian, UK and Irish citizens $3500 per month
South African citizens $3000 per month
Income is not taxed.
Benefits include:
Medical insurance
Transportation and/or allowance
Housing or housing allowance
Annual round trip air ticket to home of record
30 days paid holiday plus two Eid breaks
REQUIREMENTS:
Native English speakers from the following countries are eligible:
USA
Canada
UK
Ireland
South Africa
Candidates must have been born in the listed countries or must have moved to them in infancy. They must also be passport holders of the listed countries.
Male candidates, single status preferred, up to age 55
Two to Four years of classroom experience
Candidates must have a baccalaureate degree in English, Linguistics, Applied Linguistics or TESL/TEFL along with a certification which includes teaching practice such as a CELTA, Trinity or their equivalent. The degree must be from an accredited institution of higher learning. Degrees in English literature and mail order degrees do not meet the qualifications.
Candidates with baccalaureate degrees in Education may also be considered if transcripts show multiple courses in English, Linguistics or TEFL. If transcripts show a preponderance of courses such as psychology, cultural studies and other unrelated fields, a candidate will not be considered.

Further along in the application process, when the Saudi Arabian embassy asks for certified, original or notarized documentation in order to issue visas, they mean exactly that. This may include original degree copies and transcripts.
