WORKING CONDITIONS:
One-year position to teach ESL and learn Portuguese & Brazilian culture. Program focused on natural language acquisition (Stephen Krashen’s Natural Approach), using learner-centered, motivational, participatory classroom activities. No strict plan or course of lessons. Program includes Portuguese lessons, capoeira lessons (optional), and cultural traveling on weekends. Comfortable accommodations, small town, safe environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
Requirements: Native English, friendly personality, experience (especially with children), college degree. We provide orientation and respect each instructor’s style.
