J O B D E S C R I P T I O N :
Position: Work as an EFL Teacher in Taiwan
Contract term : Full-time – Around one year, renewable
Student Level: K12 /Elementary/Junior High/High School
Curriculum G1-12, 25-40 students per class → (vary in accordance with school), ESL (collaborating-teaching involved) or Subjects
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
Salary NT$70,895 (PhD), NT$67,925 (MA), NT$60,890 (BA) per month.
Monthly housing subsidy $ 5000 NTD, NT$10,000/mo for a teacher with dependent/s → conditional – in accordance with school
Evaluation and Performance bonus – Around one month salary by proportion of actual working months → conditional in accordance with school
Airfare reimbursement Round-trip 40000-80000 NTD, → conditional in accordance with school
Paid vacation – Summer and Winter, around 2 months, → conditional in accordance with school
Labor and health insurance – Available
Work permit & alien resident visa (ARC): school will help you apply for it.
Working hours:
Mon-Fri 8am-4:00pm, 20-25 class weekly,
40-50 min per class (vary in accordance with school)
REQUIREMENTS:
TEACHER QUALIFICATIONS:

1.) Able to work immediately (or in the near future)
2.) Native-speaker from U.S.A., U.K., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland
3.) 4 years of Bachelor’s degree or higher degree
4.) State-certified/registered teachers
U.S.A.- state certified
U.K. – QTS /QTLS / PGCE
Canada – province certified
Australia – province certified from QTC /NSW, etc…
New Zealand – certified by Teaching Council
Ireland – certified by the Teaching Council
OR
5.) sub-teaching license/APRC/MARC holder
