Responsibilities will include designing Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB 4/5) lessons appropriate for learners in reading, writing, listening, speaking and grammar collaboratively within a team setting. The successful candidate will possess the energy, creativity and flexibility to organize and direct learning activities that will meet the needs of a diverse group of new Canadian students.
We require a highly motivated and energetic part-time instructor in the Division of Adult Development to provide instruction for our English as a Second Language program at the Brooks campus. Pending funding approval and sufficient enrollment, the term of this appointment will be for September 5, 2012 to December 19, 2012, with a schedule of 10 hours per week; one day class and one evening class. There is potential for assignments in subsequent semesters pending sufficient student enrollment.

Requirements:
A minimum of a Baccalaureate degree and related teaching experience is required. TOEFL or TESL certification would be an asset. Preference will be given to applicants with prior ESL teaching experience and Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) knowledge.
