Teach English in Austria

Teaching English to German-speaking students from the ages of 8 to 15 for a not-for-profit organization headquartered in the Austrian Lake District in Austria, the region made famous by the “Sound of Music” movie. Bilingual education has become increasingly popular in Austrian secondary schools and ABCi has recently launched a major effort to expand their outreach program.
Bachelor’s degree in education (or related field) and/or teacher certification, native English speaker, proficiency in German, genuine talent for teaching and a driver’s license. Candidates with experience in a non-traditional teaching environment such as summer camps, youth groups or outdoor education will be preferred. Candidates selected for this position will be subjected to a background investigation.
