WORKING CONDITIONS:
Fukushima English Center offers a stimulating work environment. The students range from babies to adults, most of them being at the elementary school level.
There is a 100 000yen bonus upon completion for the first year and a 200 000yen completion bonus for the second year. The company will assist the teacher in finding a furnished apartment at a reasonable rate. There is also a company car that can be rented on the weekends and a bicycle will be provided for daily travel.
Fukushima city is a beautiful city famous for its nature, hot springs and delicious fruit. The surrounding mountains offer great skiing in the winter and the hot springs are a great occasion to relax. It’s a very fun and convenient place with many interesting festivals. There is also a shinkansen (high-speed train) stop in the city and it is only a 90 minute ride to Tokyo.
REQUIREMENTS:
He or she must have a university degree and a driver’s license. No Japanese knowledge is required.

SALARY: 220,000 yen per month and a 150,000 yen end of contract bonus will be paid
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position is tailored for applicants interested in coming to Japan on a Working Holiday Visa and is therefore best suited to Australian, Canadian, Irish, New Zealand or UK nationals.
Our major requirement is enthusiasm for teaching and a willingness to learn new ideas. An initial training period with experienced teachers prior to taking over classes will be followed up with an ongoing one-on-one training program covering teaching approaches, techniques, classroom management and self- assessment. Additional assistance will be given to help the new teacher become familiar with the texts and teaching materials we have available.
A valid International Driverfs License is a necessity as some driving to outside classes will be required. The teacher will have his/her own car for business use and it will be available for their private use too.
Full visa sponsorship is available to any teacher with a degree who wishes to extend their stay in Japan once the initial one-year contract has been successfully completed.

Accommodation
Apartments are arranged for teachers. The rent is between 35,000 yen and 50,000 yen depending on the size and the age of the apartment.
Holidays
There are three main paid holidays;
10 – 14 days in summer (Completely off)
(As the kindergarten in closed for about a month, most teachers have half days of teaching during that time)
10 – 14 days in winter (Completely off)
If you are re-contracted, you will also have 5 -7days in spring (Completely off)
Teachers are scheduled to work 23 – 30 teaching hours per week. 10 – 20 hours are in the kindergarten and the remaining 10-13 hours are ESL classes (Mainly toddler, kindergarten and elementary kidsf classes, however there are some adult lessons). The teachers are required to work for 2 hours in the morning 2 Saturdays a month (to teach returnee students) All the kindergarten lessons are co-taught with licensed Japanese kindergarten teachers so it is not necessary for you to have a Japanese teaching license. The 10 hours in the kindergarten have a set curriculum and materials in place. However, the remaining 10 – 15 hours of ESL classes are planned for by the teachers subsequently the materials are also created by each individual teacher. (However there are pre-prepared materials at your disposal if you choose to use them)

As International I School is a kindergarten, there are events, such as Sports Day and Winter Presentation@that may require your attendance beyond your scheduled hours. (Usually on a weekend) These occur approximately 5 times per year.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
International Kids Academy requires a NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKING COUPLE for a 12 month contract, commencing the 1ST of April 2014, through to the 31st of March 2015.
SALARY: Each teacher will receive 250,000 yen per month for the first 3 months, and 260,000 yen thereafter. A bonus of 50,000 yen every six months will be paid at the end of each year.
HOURS: 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday, with approx. 6 weeks vacation per year.

MEDICAL: Japanese health insurance (organized by the company)

There are no hidden up-front costs to teachers.

Accommodation: Sponsored single person apartment provided with all the basic necessities. Rent is approx. 62,000/month – 2LDK with parking.
Increases: Performance related, reviewed at 6-month intervals
