Description / Responsibilities
OT Training Solutions is currently seeking qualified instructors to provide non-native speaker Basic and Aviation English Language Training (ELT) Services at various locations throughout Afghanistan to Afghan National Security Forces personnel and train/instruct local national English language instructors. Teach aviation related English for the understanding and application of aviation terminology to selected military pilots, flight engineers, maintenance crews and other aviation-related career fields to achieve ICAO Level 4 proficiency. The program is designed to support English based higher level military education of the Afghan National Security Forces. The course curriculum is primarily derived from the American Language Course promulgated by the Defense Language Institute English Language Center, Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Instructors will teach Levels 1 through 6 of the English Language Training Program of Instruction and develop lesson plans that will reinforce this training.
Training is conducted six (6) days per week for up to ten (10) hours per day.

*Native English speaker.
*Minimum of two (2) years teaching experience in English as a Second Language (ESL) or English as a Foreign Language (EFL), or Master’s degree in one of these fields.
*Familiarity with the Defense Language Institute curriculum for the American Language Course is desired.
*Aviation English teachers must have familiarity with the International Civilian Aviation Organization (ICAO) English proficiency rating system with one (1) year experience in delivering aviation-related English training.
*US Citizenship required
* US DOD Secret clearance required
*Bachelor’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), English, Linguistics or related degree.
