Italy

Colliseum (Italy)
Italy is a popular destination for English teachers. Careerwise, Italy has the strongest English-teaching market in Western Europe, offering abundant opportunities, particularly for EU nationals. Then, of course, there’s the art, architecture and operas for which Italy is famous throughout the world. The country is blessed with a rich culture, full of tradition. It is also the home to some of the world’s most famous designers and artists. Italian people are united in their passion for great food and wine; so much so, that even lunch can result in a four course meal.
Italian culture alone is enough to lure English teachers from far and wide. However, you should be aware that the cost of living is high and bargains are difficult to find, except in the markets. Great importance is placed on quality, making goods expensive. Nonetheless, most people are able to adapt to Italian culture and the way of life without too much trouble.
